Protect yourself from phishing emails

  1. The email is sent from a fraudulent email address and claims to be from offical web sige and asks for personal information, bank account numbers, or passwords.
  2. There’s a sense of urgency. The email might claim that there’s unusual activity on your account and you need to secure it immediately.
  3. A link directs you to a fake website or log-on page where you’re prompted to enter your details. 
  4. There are spelling and grammar mistakes in the email, or design flaws like a distorted logo.
